Gripoblock Hot Drink is a combined medicinal product, containing paracetamol, phenylephrine and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Paracetamol relieves pain and decreases elevated body temperature. Taken at higher doses, it exhibits also an anti-inflammatory effect. Phenylephrine contracts blood vessels and reduces their filling with blood. These effects result in a decrease of nasal discharge, subsidence of mucosal swelling, improved difficulty in breathing and other symptoms of common cold and flue. Ascorbic acid improves the general state of the organism, strengthens its defensive capabilities and exhibits an antioxidant effect.

Gripoblock Hot Drink is used for the short-term treatment of headache, throat pain, high temperature, runny nose, sneezing, malaise and muscle pain in common cold and viral diseases, including flue.

The usual dose is:

Adults and children over 12 years of age

One sachet 3-4 times daily at 5-6-hourly intervals. You should not take this product at an interval less than 4 hours, and the daily dose should not exceed 4 sachets (3 g paracetamol).

Children below 12 years of age The product is not used in children below 12 years of age. Instead Gripoblock Junior is suitable for children below 12 years old.
